Meet The Face Behind Crimson Night Productions
I’m JC Rositas, the proud owner of Crimson Night Productions.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I had a knack for clever storytelling, so I got into filmmaking purely out of self-interest in the late eighties. However, it remained just a pipedream as a lack of resources kept me from moving forward in the way that I would have hoped.
Over time, I started to see the industry become more inclusive to filmmakers due to the availability of digital prosumer products and streaming platforms. So, I revisited the idea of starting up again and took proverbial “baby steps” in learning all about filmmaking in 2013.
Over the past seven years, I have been involved in some major projects which have taught me various roles. I have also found myself leaning towards the directing, cinematography, and post-production aspects of film making.
The opportunities for filmmakers of different backgrounds today, coupled with the explosion of social media has led to discrimination in Hollywood being addressed. Not only in terms of the atrocities that take place behind the scenes but also the new conversations we are having on race and gender.
I believe in being kind to everyone, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is that I support equality across all spectrums. Besides, I have a background in studio engineering and photography, which has added additional winds to my sails as a film artist.
I also attribute my film production success to the lovely people that I work with, so I always strive to ensure that my cast and crew are happy. The collaborations with other incredibly supportive professionals has further led to garnering recognition from peers.
With that said, I’m always looking to learn and grow from receiving negative reviews so that I can improve and find ways to generate revenue, especially for future projects. It’s been a labor of love so far, since I’m pretty much broke, having dumped lots of funds into this business.
The truth is being able to do what I love is immensely satisfying, and it keeps me going, day and night. However, when I am not creating captivating productions, I love landscape and wildlife photography as I find it relaxing being able to capture the raw nature of life.
I also feel strongly about humanitarianism, and as a father and grandfather, human trafficking is of grave concern to me, so I want to support so organizations that speak out and act against it.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
If you or someone you know could benefit from my expertise in film, audio production and post-production in Highland, I invite you to get in touch. Please visit my website at www.cnproductions.net.
